Welcome to the Knorrhütte.

The Knorrhütte is an ideal base camp if you want to take the easiest way to the Zugspitze via the Reintal.

The oldest alpine club hut in the German Alpine region has been carefully modernized in recent years and today, despite its secluded location, offers all kinds of comfort and coziness.

Situated at 2,051 m above sea level, the hut environment offers awe-inspiring impressions of how the vegetation develops far above the tree line. The environment already conveys an imposing feeling of "high mountains," even though the ascents to and from the hut do not require any specialized alpine knowledge or skills. A little bit of fitness, however, can't hurt, as it takes about 3 hours both up and down before the cable car or bus allows further transport.

Here we have compiled all the essential information for your visit to our hut.

For more information, visit our homepage www.knorrhuette.de or send us an email.

The Knorrhütte is also the base for the three-day "Zugspitztour" - an amazing three-day hike from Garmisch-Partenkirchen to the Zugspitze and back down to Ehrwald. Highly recommended!

We are looking forward to your visit.
