The Dienstl Gut has been owned by the Copenhagen entrepreneur couple Kurt and Kirsten Daell since 2011. Mr. Daell is a native Carinthian from St. Veit/Glan, for whom the Dienstl Gut has been the preferred holiday address for years. The manor houses a 4-star hotel with restaurant and seminar facilities, as well as an equestrian centre with stables, riding hall and show grounds. The 22 rooms, furnished in country house style, radiate the comfort and tranquility of the surrounding nature. Dienstl Gut is situated in the historical landscape of Central Carinthia, in viewing distance of Burg Hochosterwitz. The old Carinthian capital St. Veit/Glan as well as the castle town of Friesach can be reached in 10 to 15 minutes by car. Guests, who arrive at the airport of the provincial capital Klagenfurt am Wörthersee can reach Dienstl Gut in about 25 minutes. On their way to us, they cross the Zollfeld with its excavations from Roman times. The foothills of the Gurktal Alps or the neighbouring Görtschitz Valley with the Saualpe and the former ore mining areas around Hüttenberg, which date back to Celtic times, offer a wide range of activities for young and old.
