MBN Tourismusmanagement GmbH Verified partner Explorers Choice
During the closure of the B99 between Spittal and Seeboden, this tour is the shortest conncection for cyclists to the Millstätter See
From Spittal you reach St. Wolfgang via the eastern district of Edling after a 2 km climb and after another 2km downhill you reach the southern shore of the Millstätter See, where you can also join the "Millstätter See Radweg" NB26 directly!
From Seeboden follow the R2B to Hotel Steiner and there you take the "Seeblickweg" towards St. Wolfgang. Pass the church and Gasthof Simeter and after 2 km downhill you reach the district of Edling in Spittal/Drau.
From the main square (Hauptplatz) in Spittal, we head east and after the bridge we turn left into Edlinger Straße, staying on this road until the end. Pass Gasthof Kasperle on the left (uphill) and turn left again towards St. Sigmund-St. Wolfgang. Now we go uphill for about 2 km, more or less through the forest, past Gasthof Simeter (it´s worth taking a rest!) to St. Wolfgang. From now on it´s all downhill through the forest (beware: some stretches are bad!) and after another 2 km we reach the southern shore of Millstätter See in Seeboden.
