Ebenwald – Krametbichl – Lauβnitzer See – Ebenwald circular route (113/114/114a)

Start at Lauβnitztal (at the junction Ebenwald-Lauβnitzer hut). From here take forest path no. 113, which is a comfortable path up to Ebenwaldhöhe. When the path splits, continue right on trail no. 114 “Krametbichl”. The path then narrows into a small trail that leads through meadows (often very wet underfoot) and then you reach the cross on the summit of Krametbichl. Stop here a while to catch your breath and enjoy the magnificent view of Katschtal and Pöllatal. Continue your hike on trail no. 114a towards Schereck and Roter Riegel to Lauβnitzer See. From here a steep track leads down to Lauβnitzer hut (opportunity for a well-earned rest). The circular walk then leads down to a basin (stream) via trail no. 113, over a small bridge and up a short path on the other side to Ebenwaldhöhe and to Ebenwald, which is the starting point.
