With some luck you can watch groundhogs (or "Mangei" as we say here) and who keeps calm maybe can shoot a few photos from these wonderful animales.
On the Scharfetthütte is a binoculars ready to enjoy the wonderful panorama and to observe wild animals.

Highway chapel in Flachauwinkl - via forest road to the "Unterbichlhütte" - path Nr. 711 - turn left after that and carry on path Nr. 711 - Südwienerhütte (ca. 1802m) - Spirzinger (2066m) path Nr. 27 -Spazeck (2065m) - on the way back from the Spazeck leads you on the right hand side a track downhill to the path Nr. 26 - in direction to Hafeichtkapelle/Scharfetthütte - back again to motorway chapel path Nr. 26
Who do not want to hike to the peak can walk directly on the road from the Südwienerhütte to the Scharfetthütte - path Nr. 26
