The starting point is the Drobollach Tourist Information Center. From there the hike goes along the boardwalk on the southern slope, heading west through the idyllic forests of Dobrova. The route takes you over pleasantly rolling hills in the forest towards "St. Stefan," a district of Finkenstein. You take a left turn in front of St. Stefan Church and follow the street to Höfling. After a short distance on the street you will reach the Faak swamp, which you walk across towards Faak. In Faak the main road takes you slightly uphill. Shortly before the Schindelstube Restaurant the path goes towards "Drobollach" into the forest, in order to meet up with the main road again before arriving in Drobollach. You follow this road for a little bit before the climb back to Drobollach begins on a dirt road. Stay on this dirt road back to the Drobollach Tourist Information Center.
