Turn-by-turn directions

2.30-3 hrs walk on path 170 will take you from Erlacherhaus to Feldhütte hut and on to the summit of Rosennock, which at 2440 metres is the highest mountain in the Nockberge mountains. The descent (path 13) passes by Lake Nassbodensee, the foot of the Zunderwänden walls, Erlacher Bockhütte hut, and eventually reaches Erlacherhaus hut.

An important prerequisite for the success of a hike, is beside the careful study of the maps, the best equipment. Standard features include solid, well-fitting Berschuhe, as well as a water and windproof jacket and over trousers (rain). Sunglasses, mobile phone and first aid kit should also be found in a small backpack the necessary space.
