Start from the Waldbad Mauthen and walk up to the Missoria Alm and then further east to Gasthof Dolling. Trail no. 426 leads above the "Krieghof" via the "Kronhof" to Weidenburg. Here you take the opportunity to visit the romantic Weidenburg waterfall (approx. 30 minutes).The way back leads you from Weidenburg to the St. Danieler suspension bridge and from there it goes left and right along the Gail back to Kötschach-Mauthen.
