The Carinthian Slow Trails stand for "slow motion" instead of "high speed" and offer leisurely, relaxed hiking - always taking care of the nature and bringing you to the most scenic spots near the beautiful Carinthian lakes.
The Slow Trail Faaker See leads through the idyllic nature and landscape protection area on the edge of the Drobollacher Moor. Enjoy the great views such as the Karawanken mountain chain with the Mittagskogel as the most striking and highest elevation in the Villach - Faaker See region. The Slow Trail leads over natural paths either to the peninsula or to the village of Drobollach, always to one of the free lake accesses.
Don't forget a bath towel, swimming trunks, sunscreen and sunglasses for a dip in the water after a relaxed stroll.
