The Blairwitch Trail (T27) is a naturally constructed single trail with a black (i.e. difficult) degree of difficulty near the Baumgartnerhof at Faaker See. The trail can be used as an alternative to the Lowgartner Trail or in combination with it.

The Blairwitch Trail (T27) is a naturally constructed single trail with a black (difficult) degree of difficulty near the Baumgartnerhof at Faaker See.
This trail features roots, stones and sometimes narrower passages. However, the flow is never lost, which is why the trail is really fun to ride.
Author’s recommendation
The combination of this trail with the Flowgartner, Lowgartner and Latschacher trail is simply perfect. Don´t forget to stop for lunch or dinner at the Baumgartnerhof or at the Burgschenke.

Turn-by-turn directions
The trail entrance is right at the end of the forest road that takes you to the Blairwitch Trail T27. From here you follow the track until it joins the Lowgartner Trail. Following the last two curves of the Lowgartner Trail, you come out directly at teh road leading up to the Baumgartnerhof.

You can either take the train (S2 line) to Faak or you can go by bus (Postbus) to Latschach.
Getting there
Take the road to Latschach - at the beginning of the village turn southwards and drive up the Altfinkensteiner Straße towards the castle arena Finkenstein and the restaurant Baumgartnerhof.Parking
You have different parking options:
-You can park at the tourist information office in Faak am See and cycle upwards from there
-You can also park at the cementary in Latschach
-The last option is the parking area at the Baumgartnerhof which is most of the time quite early full - you can also park at the castle arena Finkenstein.
