The Ischnig Trail is a moderate natural single trail, situated south of the small inn called "Ischnig" near lake Faaker See.

The Ischnig Trail (T22) is a natural single trail with intermediate difficulty, just above the small inn called "Ischnig". In the upper third the trail is a natural singletrack with some stones and roots, before it turns into a forest road. This trail can be combined very well with the Kopein Trail, Samonigg Trail or the Flowgartner Trail. At the end of the exit we advise you to cycle back to the starting point for a traditional snack at the "Ischnig".
Author’s recommendation
Enjoy culinary delights at the "Ischnig" - they serve lovely bacon, ham and salami - all made in Carinthia and served with local homemade bread.

Turn-by-turn directions
The entrance to the trail is on the Bertahüttenstraße, just before the crossing of a brook and a road turn. The trail then follows along the stream bed, directly down to "Ischnig" and is a shared trail. Hikers have priority!

The start of the trail can be reached by bike if you follow the road up to the "Bertahütte".Parking
