In Rattendorf the ascent begins via the forest road to the Rattendorfer Alm. After the alp the path becomes a little more demanding and leads as a cart track to the Zanklhütte. From here the bike has to be pushed/carried for the most part - there are still 130 metres of altitude difference to the Rattendorfer Sattel. The descent on the Italian side begins with a fantastic single trail, which later turns into a gravel road that leads to the Lanzenalm. Turn right here (north-west direction) and follow the asphalt road for about 2 kilometres. At the turn-off at 1,400 m above sea level turn right towards Straniger Sattel/Starniger Alm - gravel road, just under 200 hm uphill. The descent via the Straniger Alm meets the R3 cycle path in the village of Stranig - follow this to the starting point (the last 2 km along the L22). With the E-MTB you can enjoy the wonderful landscape and panorama even more.

HIGHLIGHT: Scotti Chapel at KM 14.3
