From the district of Bach in Bad Kleinkirchheim, the route runs to the Spitzeck via St. Oswald and over the Brunnachhöhe ridge to the St. Oswalder Bockhütte. This medium-difficult tour requires plenty of stamina! If you prefer to save yourself the 500 m climb, you can take the Nationalparkbahn cable car to the top (free with the Kärnten Card). The descent follows single trails and footpaths in parts to the Petodnighütte. Then it runs along forested and some asphalt trails to St. Peter and Obertweng and via a woodland path back to Bad Kleinkirchheim.

Beautiful tour. Be carefull though serieus downhill when you reach highest point after mountain cabin (red-white-red wanderers trail). You follow wanderers trail down, with decents up to 30% rocks and bolders. More downhill it's best to follow road instead of trail. At some points wanderers trail is forbidden now for MTB. When you have good MTB technical skills this route is an absoute to do on your trip!!
