This physically demanding bike route goes from Faak to Ratnitz and from there climbs up on “Altfinkensteinstrasse” towards “Outschena.” The forest path takes you constantly upwards on a serpent-like path, always inching closer to the nearby stream. Finally you cross the stream and bike along it as it bends. In the upper section you hop onto a new forest path. Eventually you reach “Annahütte” which is the highest point of the tour. Take the same route back down to Faak. If you are feeling ambitious you can head straight into the “3-Country Mountain Bike Tour” and ride to Kransjka Gora (Slovenia). From there the route either goes over the “Wurzenpass” or through Tarvis (Italy) back to the Faaker See. This route is still not marked by signs.
