Turn-by-turn directions

From the starting point of the tour we follow the short climb through the vineyard of the family Neumaier up a paved driveway to the castle. Here we turn left and pass through the castle gate. Right after that we keep to the right, Circle 0the castle and enjoy stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

Villach HBF to Landskron in the Ossiacher See Süduferstraße stop Max-Lauritsch Straße.

By road

By car from Villach to Landskron and then on Ossiacher Strasse towards Ossiacher See. At the intersection Schoenwirt turn right into Max-Lautritsch-Strasse and then take the first left into Mautstrasse.

Parking

Sufficient parking around the castle pond accessible by the toll road. If you want to walk half an hour longer, use a parking lot at the toll station and reach the Burgherrenrunde first via path no. 1 to the Ossiacher See and after approx. 10 minutes turn off onto the former toboggan run.
