Feld am See

From Feld am See cycle along the lakes Brennsee and Afritzersee, until the valley narrows. In the gorge keep to the right and cycle into the Gegendtal valley. Before you reach Treffen, turn to the right and cross the bridge into the Krastal, a small valley. The low-traffic romantic valley is ideal for road cyclists and we pass two quarries until we reach the Drautal valley. In Puch we keep left along the river Drau to Rennstein. We cross the river Drau and take first exit after the bridge, leading towards Villach. Go over the roundabout and cross a small bridge towards the center. After the gas station turn right to Bad Bleiberg. The road rises noticeably and winds deeper into the narrowing valley. Go past the small hamlet Heiligengeist, on towards Bad Bleiberg with the famous mining museum Terra Mystica. We continue through the Windisch gorge to Labientschach and and turn at the bus right to St. Georgen. Continue to Kerschdorf and Tratten and from there the road climbs steeply over the Windische Höhe to Nickelsdorf. In Nickelsdorf turn left at the bus stop to Paternion,. Cycle over the river Drau to Ferndorf and then to Döbriach on the shores of lake Millstatt.   Public parking is available
