Leave Klopeiner See and head out through Eberndorf and then on quiet roads towards Globasnitz, Pirkdorf and Feistritz before joining the 112 at St. Georgen. Then heading south there is a short section of very steep road before reaching the border crossing.
After descending to Mezica you turn left and ride through Prevalje and Ravne and follow the river towards Dravograd. Before you reach the town you head on the south side of the Drau on quiet roads through Crnece and crossing the border back into Austria at Libelice. You go then through Bach until you join the B81 and continue to Neuhaus towards Einersdorf where you take the L128. After a few km's you can join the cycle way at Mittlern turning off at Kühnsdorf before returning to Klopeiner See.
