Head out from Klopeiner See, through Kühnsdorf and then on to the cycle way that runs along the L128 to Nauerschnig.
Taking the L127 you cross the Drau with very impressive views of the river from a vast height! before reaching the village of Ruden.
Then a lovely climb over the Grutschen pass which gives you views of Lavanttal and the Koralpe mountain before descending to St. Paul and riding north along the L135. You then head west and begin the climb of the Griffner Berg before descending into Griffen with views of the Castle and mountains all around.
Through Griffen, Völkermarkt and across the Drau to return back to St. Kanzian.
