Seeben via ferrata
A racy sports via ferrata that climbs a good 250 m up the Seeben walls along a steep and exposed waterfall and delights with spectacular views of the neighbouring Zugspitze massif.
The Seeben via ferrata is a sport via ferrata with challengingly steep and exposed passages. Anchored in 1990 in the steep Seeben Wänden – only a few metres from the waterfall of the same name – the via ferrata requires good surefootedness, stamina, endurance, a head for heights and a lot of climbing experience due to its sporty route guidance. Almost the entire route of just under 250 metres of altitude is in the difficulty range C and higher, so it is not an easy via ferrata, but a great challenge. After successfully climbing the route, you can enjoy a rest at the Seebenalm and enjoy the fantastic panorama of the nearby Zugspitze massif.
